DESCRIPTION:In person and two virtual options available in 2022! You choose the best one for you and your family. \nGabriella’s Smile Foundation is hosting their Fifth Annual 5k Cupcake Run presented by Community First Health Plans on May 14\, 2022. This is a family friendly event for everyone and kids ages 0-14 can register as official participants. \nMay is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and we are raising critical funds to provide support for DIPG and pediatric cancer families. \n  \nABOUT THE RACE \nGabriella’s 5k Cupcake Run and Gabriella’s Smile Foundation is named after Gabriella Elise Torres\, who was 5 when she battled Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)\, a terminal form of brain cancer. She died just 8 days after her 6th birthday on November 7\, 2015. \nGabriella’s 5k Cupcake Run is the first of its kind here in the San Antonio community for Brain Tumor Awareness Month\, which is in May.
