DESCRIPTION:Diabetes Garage is a FREE workshop presented by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District and Community First to teach men with diabetes how to fuel their bodies properly so it can perform at its best—just like a car. \nEach session is from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\, with lunch provided\, at Westfall Branch Library. (I-10 and Vance Jackson) \n\nSession 1 – January 23\, 2025\nSession 2 – January 30\, 2025\nSession 3 – February 6\, 2025\nSession 4 – February 13\, 2025\n\nComplete the workshop series and receive an H-E-B Gift Card and a loaded toolbox. Attend to learn bike safety tips and how to keep your children safe on the road. Open to the community and individuals of all ages.\n\nA Community First Outreach team member will also be in attendance to provide information about our health plan options and present giveaways and a certificate of course completion.\n\n\nNo registration is required.
