DESCRIPTION:Diabetes Garage is a FREE workshop presented by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District and Community First to teach men with diabetes how to fuel their bodies properly so it can perform at its best—just like a car. \nIn addition to a toolbox filled with diabetes supplies\, Members who attend all 4 sessions will receive a $50 gift card to H-E-B. \nEach session is on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\, with lunch provided at Harvey E. Najim Family YMCA at 3122 Roosevelt Ave\, San Antonio\, TX 78214. \n\nSession 1 – November 3\, 2026\nSession 2 – November 10\, 2026\nSession 3 – November 17\, 2026\nSession 4 – November 24\, 2026\n\nFor male Community First Members with diabetes ages 18 and up. Attend to learn bike safety tips and how to keep your children safe on the road. Open to the community and individuals of all ages.\n\nA Community First Outreach team member will also be in attendance to provide information about our health plan options and present giveaways and a certificate of course completion.\n\n\nNo registration is required.
