45th Annual Dieciséis de Septiembre Parade

Join us for the 45th Annual Dieciséis de Septiembre Parade, a FREE community celebration honoring Mexican Independence Day and the rich cultural heritage of San Antonio’s Historic Westside!

Hosted by the Avenida Guadalupe Association, this family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and brings together residents, organizations, community leaders, and visitors for a vibrant celebration of culture, pride, and tradition. Enjoy:

The parade begins at the corner of Brazos Street and Guadalupe Street and travels west through the historic Westside neighborhood. Bring your lawn chairs and sun umbrellas, and arrive early to find the perfect viewing spot along the parade route near El Parian and Plaza Guadalupe.
