The Battle of Flowers® Parade honors the heroic spirit of the patriots of the Alamo, commemorates the victories of San Jacinto and Goliad and celebrates the diversity and heritage of Texas and our nation. The 2022 Parade will honor the cultural history to which this event has contributed since its inception 131 years ago with fresh floral tributes and the theme “Viva Las Flores!”

The 2022 Fiesta Flambeau® Parade will celebrate with “Celebrating Literary Classics” as the parade theme. Leading our parade for its 74th year is our premier band, The University of Texas Longhorn Band, followed by spectacular themed floats, marching units, local, out of town and out of state bands, dance groups, equestrian units and many other attractions that create a memorable night of illuminated entertainment.
