A Flood Watch will go into effect Wednesday, September 30 at 7 p.m. for San Antonio and surrounding areas. Heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms could bring several inches of rain and potentially dangerous flash flooding.
Please share the following information with your Community First patients: Drivers should avoid flooded roads and never attempt to cross a roadway covered by water, particularly at low-water crossings. As storm threats continue, Texans are urged to stay informed, avoid driving through flooded roadways, and heed all warnings from local officials. Texans can locate severe weather safety information at TexasReady.gov, check road conditions at DriveTexas.org, and find all hazards preparedness tips at tdem.texas.gov/prepare.
