On September 24, 2025, ProgenyHealth hosted a virtual training session for Community First Health Plans Providers to introduce the new utilization management process for STAR Medicaid NICU admissions and case management services.
This training was recorded and is now available in the Community First U section of the Provider Portal for reference. Presentation slides used during the session are also available on the Portal.
As a reminder, Community First now partners with ProgenyHealth (effective October 1) for neonatal utilization management and case management services for STAR Members. Through this partnership, ProgenyHealth will work alongside Community First to strengthen coordination of care, enhance support for families, and improve transitions from hospital to home.
